Free clothing drive this Saturday

Typhoon survivors in need of clothes are invited to stop by the Joeten Daidai Social Hall in Chalan Kanoa this Saturday, Nov. 24, from 3pm to 6pm. This free clothing drive is hosted by Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation, with support from the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa. For more information, call Vei at 285-5334 or Tina at 285-3935. 

Free bento from Korean Association

The Korean Association on Saipan will be giving away free bento to the community at the following locations beginning 11:30am. Up to 200-300 bento will be prepared every day. The items will e given away on a first come, first serve basis.
• Nov. 22: Big Bell Construction, across Hanam, Koblerville
• Nov. 23: Dandan HiMart

Drinking water distribution

The CNMI government and the U.S. Department of Defense will be facilitating the distribution of drinkable water at the reverse osmosis station at Pakpak Beach in San Antonio. It is open daily Monday to Sunday, from 7:30am to 6pm. Residents must bring their own clean water containers There is a limit of five 5-gallon water bottles per household. (PR)

Water refilling stations

The U.S. Department of Defense will be providing drinkable water at the water buffalo filling station at the Koblerville Fire Station and Mt. Carmel Cathedral field. The water buffalos are completely self-serve. Residents must bring their own clean water containers. The stations are open daily, from 8am to 6pm. There is a limit of 25 gallons per household. (PR)

Thanksgiving hours of transfer station, Marpi landfill

In observance of Thanksgiving Day, the Lower Base Transfer Station and the Marpi landfill will be closed all day on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018. Normal operations will resume on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018. (PR)

Bank of Guam Thanksgiving hours

Bank of Guam announces the following holiday hours for Thanksgiving:
• Nov. 21, Wednesday: Closed at 3pm
• Nov. 22, Thursday: Closed
• Nov. 23, Friday: Closed
• Nov. 24, Saturday: Saturday branches open regular hours
