A weather disturbance that has been forming south of Kosrae is expected to pass just southwest of Guam Thursday or Friday and could affect the CNMI too.

Around 5pm yesterday, the system, currently named disturbance 92W, was located at 3.5N 159.5E about 250 miles south-southeast of Pohnpei and was seen drifting northwest.

The National Weather Service in Guam is urging the Marianas to keep track of the system as it is expected to bring gusty showers and thunderstorms as it passes.
