Bank of Guam’s interim president and chief executive officer Joaquin P.L.G. Cook will travel to Saipan later this week to meet with Gov. Ralph DLG Torres, the staff of the bank’s Garapan branch and the Saipan community. A special donation will be made that that time. Cook will also tour the island to view the extent of the damage to the community, its people, its government and its businesses.

Since the passing of Typhoon Yutu, Bank of Guam has contributed $15,000 to the Ayuda Foundation to airlift medical supplies for 10,000 patients. The bank has also established a “Typhoon Yutu Relief” fund account, initiated loan deferments for CNMI residents and offered its services for coin drives. (PR)
