The Commonwealth Election Commission is urging registered voters to take advantage of early voting that will start tomorrow, Tuesday.

On Saipan, early voting will be at the Pedro. P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe, from 8:30am to 4pm.

On Tinian, early voting will be at the Tinian Department of Public Safety, also from 8:30am to 4pm.

On Rota, it will be at the Rota-Northern Marianas College, from 8:30am to 4pm.

The designated polling places both have power and air-conditioning units.

CEC executive director Julita A. Villagomez encouraged those who can’t make it to the Nov. 13 election day to cast their votes during the early voting period.

Registered voters just need to bring an identification card with picture.

As of last Oct. 5, the total number of registered voters in the CNMI is 18,975, a record-breaking number.

Meanwhile, the mandatory training for poll workers on Saipan will be on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center at 5:30pm.

The mandatory training for poll workers on Tinian and Rota was done last Friday and last Monday, Oct. 29.
Villagomez said all poll supervisors, poll workers, and alternates that failed to attend the training will be replaced.
