Districts 1 and 3 have most number of voters
18,975 record-breaking registered voters
Election Districts 1 and 3 remain with the most number of registered voters in the CNMI for this Nov. 6 general election, according to the Commonwealth Election Commission.
The CEC voter registration statistics showed that, as of Oct. 5, there are 18,975 total number of voters in the CNMI, the highest ever recorded. The previous record-breaking number of registered voters in the CNMI was 17,930, which was posted in the 2016 general election.
Election District 1, which covers San Antonio, San Vicente, and Koblerville, has the highest number with 5,072. This is followed by Election District 3 or the San Jose/Oleai and Garapan areas with 3,803.
Election District 5, the Kagman area, is third with 2,839. Election District 7 or Rota, has 2,001.
Election District 4, which covers Tanapag, San Roque, Capital Hill, and Northern Islands, has 1,939. Election District 6 or Tinian has 1,758.
The least number of voters is Election District 2 or the Chalan Kanoa/Susupe areas, which has 1,563 voters.
Of all the villages on Saipan, Kagman has the highest number of voters at 2,839. San Vicente is second with Garapan with 2,824, and San Vicente with 2,815. Capital Hill has the least number of voters on Saipan with 420.
