MYPros to hand out awards at its anniversary
The Marianas Young Professionals, or MYPros, is inviting the public to its three-year anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Hyatt Regency Saipan ballroom.
During this event, MYPros will honor and celebrate young professionals in the CNMI with awards in the categories for Young Professional of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and the Spotlight Award.
The nominees for this year’s Spotlight Award are: Monique Boyer Sablan, Workforce Program coordinator and public information officer of the CNMI Scholarship Office; Tania David, assistant vice president of operations of the Bank of Guam; Joe E. Ayuyu Jr., operations supervisor of McDonald’s Saipan; and press secretary Kevin Bautista of the Office of the Governor.
The nominees for Young Professional of the Year Award are James Lee, Marpac Distributors sales manager; Ben Jones, vice principal of discipline at Kagman High School; and Ashley Kost, Office of the Public Auditor’s director of Investigations and legal counsel;
Saturday’s event will have the theme of “Havana Nights,” a celebration of Cuban food, a mojito station, a silent auction, and DJ Dice mixing all your favorite music from 6pm to 10pm. There will also be special performances so get your tickets now at Tribe Marianas for $45. (PR)
