The Marianas Visitors Authority’s 12th Annual Hell of the Marianas is presented by Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan and jointly organized with Northern Mariana Islands Cycling Federation
“Hell of The Marianas has become one of The Marianas’ longer running sporting events,” said NMICF president Vince Seman. “It is a testament to the beauty and challenge of the course that keep many coming back and attracting new participants from the region.”
Over 150 competitions from 11 countries competed last year in Micronesia’s 100K cycling course, which is highlighted by the untapped natural beauty of Saipan at its most distinguished attractions, including Suicide Cliff, Bird Island Lookout, and Banzai Cliff.
“The MVA is pleased to again partner with the Northern Mariana Islands Cycling Federation in presenting the 2019 Hell of The Marianas,” said MVA acting managing director Martin Duenas. “In recent years, we have seen a renewed interested in this race from both visiting athletes and international media. We have been expanding our contact with cycling clubs in our source markets to increase awareness of the challenging and picturesque Hell of The Marianas, and we look forward to welcoming all local and visiting competitors to the Dec. 1 event.”
