As Guam prepares and braces for the brunt of Typhoon Mangkhut, airmen and soldiers from the Guam National Guard prepare equipment and supplies that may be used in the event the island is hit hard and the Guard is called up to state active duty to assist in recovery efforts.
“The Guard is ready, reliable and very capable to assist,” said Maj. Gen. Roderick Leon Guerrero, the adjutant general of the Guam National Guard. “As members of this community, our soldiers and airmen are always ready to respond to the needs of the island,” he said. (PR)
