Unresponsive person found on UOG campus

University of Guam security found an unresponsive individual Sunday morning around 8am in the parking lot between the RFK Memorial Library and the Computer Center. The individual has been identified as Angel Crisostomo Petros, a multimedia technician at the RFK Memorial Library. Petros passed away yesterday morning. His immediate family has been notified. 

The university is cooperating with GPD’s ongoing investigation. 

Petros joined the university in 1995 and was named employee of the year in 2006 for technical, professional (non-faculty) and paraprofessional personnel. 

“This is a trying time for our university community. We are in shock and saddened,” said UOG president Thomas Krise. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Angel’s family and loved ones.”

UOG’s Isa Psychological Services Center will be offering counseling and support to anyone needing services beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 4. (UOG)
