The Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture is preparing for its Annual Women’s Exhibit, which recognizes the roles of women artists in the community.

The council is inviting all female registered and non-registered artists to join and participate in this exhibit, which will be at the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan lobby for the whole month of March.

“I would like to encourage all registered and non-registered artists to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase and sell your art work,” said Fe McMahon, the arts council’s coordinator.

All artwork will be monitored by McMahon for the whole month of the exhibit. Artists are welcome to come and sell their artwork but they are not required to be present every day.

The Women’s exhibit will run from March 4 up to March 28. It will be open from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

For more information on how you can join or become a registered artist, contact or visit McMahon at the Arts Council office on Capital Hill next to the Post Office or call her at 322-9983 or 483-1226.
