Triple J does topping ceremony for Surfrider hotel
The Surfrider Resort Hotel, a full-service hotel with 22 rooms that are currently in operation and a total of 50 rooms to be completed, is expected to be fully operational before peak tourist season in 2019.
According to Robert H. Jones, Triple J Enterprises, Inc. board chair, said the hotel, once completed, will include American with Disabilities Act-compliant rooms, executive suites, and a loft-style penthouse seated on top of the Surf Club Restaurant.
The final layout will also incorporate meeting rooms, a fitness center, a state-of-the-art spa facility, a complimentary laundry room, and over 75 parking stalls.
Equipped with numerous amenities, the Surfrider Resort Hotel provide convenience and comfort for guests while sharing in the Customer’s First mission of Triple J Enterprises, Inc.
“Although we faced many challenges along the way, we are here today celebrating our accomplishment of the initial stage of the project,” said Jones. “We are ready to partner with travel agencies, local businesses and international guests to meet their needs supporting our tourism industry. I want to thank Dan Murrell, Mario Valentino, and our hard-working construction team. We hope to have our grand opening before Christmas 2018.”
The infrastructure of the Surfrider Resort also pays tribute the native Chamorro culture of Saipan with latte stone pillars incorporated in the design—one of many aspects initiated by the team of Triple J.
A top-off ceremony was held last Tuesday, Aug. 21, signifying the completion of the infrastructure phase.
“Each person on the Triple J team plays an important role —components of our success. As superintendent of Triple J Construction, it is a pleasure to be a contributing member of such a productive and innovative team. I would like to thank the Jones family for their vision, my colleagues for their contribution and our construction team for their tireless efforts.” said Valentino, superintendent of Triple J Construction, Triple J Saipan, Inc.
