Emon Lodge caging kicks off Sept. 1

The 2018 Emon Lodge No. 179 Brotherhood Basketball League will start on Sept. 1 at the Koblerville Gymnasium.
Nine teams have confirmed their participation in the league with Armatech, MJD, Blue Haus, Pacific Island Club Saipan, Kensington Hotel, Kanoa Resort, Cell Pro, PEGS, and Pacific Postal making up the list. Island Rent A Car could be the 10th team after expressing interest to join the competition.
Games in the Emon Lodge caging will be played every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, starting at 6pm.
Coaches and team representatives had a meeting yesterday at McDonald’s Middle Road to discuss details of the opening ceremony and other league requirements,
All teams are permitted to have 15 players on their roster and 10 must be in the 40 and above age group, while the rest should be 39 years old or under. Representative and coaches of the participating teams are asked to list the complete names of their players and their jersey color. Teams must also provide organizers with a copy of the players completed registration and waiver forms.
