TanHoldings Corp. and the Tan Siu Lin Foundation have signed on as title sponsors of the “Green Gala,” an annual fundraiser hosted by the environment group Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance.
“Tan Siu Lin Foundation and TanHoldings…recognize and appreciate the various environmental awareness and conservation efforts by Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance, as they inspire our group of companies to ‘go green’ and safeguard the environment,” said Jerry Tan, president of TanHoldings Corp. “We live in paradise, and everyone should do their part to protect our natural resources and keep our islands beautiful.” This was echoed by Dave Guerrero, treasurer of MINA’s board of directors. “It’s MINA’s mission to foster community conservation efforts for the health of our environment, and we at MINA are proud that we continue to garner the support of our community, such as the good folks at TanHoldings and TSL Foundation, who believe in the work that we do.”
Somia Quan, MINA vice president, added that MINA’s efforts at outreach and education in the community about keeping beaches and ocean clean, plus the work of the Tasi Watch Rangers, are made possible through the support of dedicated sponsors. “We wholeheartedly thank them for their contribution to our ongoing efforts to keep our land and sea litter free.”
