6 teams advance to SEDA Bud Light Cup playoffs
Six squads had already made the cut in the B Division of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association Bud Light Cup.
6JMS Strikers, 6JMS 101 Proofers, Amari’s Gunners, 6JMS Predators, 6JMS Scorpion, Drunken Warriors advanced to the playoff round that will start on Aug. 27. The first three playoff games will feature the following pairings: 6JMS Strikers vs 6JMS 101 Proofers, Amari’s Gunners vs 6JMS Predators, and 6JMS Scorpion vs Drunken Warriors. Jonny’s Roll Sol will face Naked Fish Ridin’ Darrty and 6JMS Terminators will take on 6JMS Mafia I with the winners joining the early playoff qualifiers.
In other results, the top-ranked Mafia III almost absorbed an upset against fourth place 6JMS Bandits before pulling off an 8-7 win in their Fanihi Division game. The Warriors II, on the other hand, won via forfeiture over Oleai Desaten II, while No. 2 6JMS 80 Proofers subdued 6JMS Shaka, 9-6.
In the Flame Tree B Division, Real Deal beat Naked Fish DNA Jump It, 9-6; Jonny’s Serial Killaz defeated Franken Board Members, 10-5; Na’Gupu won over Creepers, 9-6; Naked Fish Ridin’ Darrty overcame the Naked Fish Dartaholiks, 9-6; and Jonny’s Jeam Kyodai edged 6JMS Drillers, 8-7.
For the C Division results, Jonny’s Bulls Hitter topped Amari’s Like a G4, 14-1; Jonny’s Werpa outlasted Next, River Shots, 8-7; 6JMS Dart Vaders defeated Amaris Tavern, 10-5; and 6JMS Bulldogs downed Amaris Bull-it, 9-6.
In the Master’s A Division, 6JMS Mafia trounced Amaris Nakayoshi, 13-6, while 6JMS 151 Proofers dispatched 6JMS Pythons, 9-8.
Meanwhile, in the Saipan Billiards Association 8-Ball League, Tuesday Division, 9 11/Marianas Water defeated Amari’s IT&E Destroyer, 7-6; 9/11 Wild Boyz dominated 670 Builders, 10-3; and 9/11 Straight Black routed Amari’s Master’s Touch, 10-3.
In the Thursday Division, Brannon’s Jam Shooters conquered Amari’s Intensity, 11-2; 911 8 Black Ball defeated 9 Eleven MJD Warriors, 10-3; Amari’s IT&E Homeboyz beat Sand Team SCS, 10-3; 911 Titans outclassed the Assassins, 9-4.
