Torres to deliver SOCA on Aug. 21
Following the adoption of Senate Joint Resolution 20-06, D1, HD1 last Friday, the 20th Northern Marianas Commonwealth Legislature has officially called for a joint session to receive the annual State of the Commonwealth Address of Gov. Ralph DLG. Torres on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at 10am at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe, Saipan.
In a statement, Torres said: “In this year’s SOCA, I will be talking about our place in the world and lay out what we should do for our future if we continue this journey together. The progress we have made together is a testament to your belief that our islands’ best days are ahead. There’s a lot of work that still needs to be done, and we’ve got some big choices ahead as a community, but I truly believe that if we make those right choices, our future will be bright. I really look forward to updating our community, both on island and online.”
