Financial aid for NMC’s fall semester

Share

There are still financial aid opportunities available to help qualified Northern Marianas College students pay for tuition, books, and other educational expenses.

These financial aid programs will be discussed in the information session scheduled for today, July 31, 2018, and on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018.

Both sessions will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at NMC’s Café Proa near the NMC Bookstore.

Those who attend the information session will also qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for NMC’s fall 2018 semester—a savings of about $75.

In addition to admissions and financial aid opportunities, the college will also be sharing information about degree programs offered at NMC, the Prior Learning Assessment program, and other topics.

Roundtrip shuttle service will also be provided from Tanapag and Kagman on each day that the information session is held. Pick up times from Tanapag Middle School and the Kagman Market will be at 4:30pm, and the return dropoff time from NMC back to Tanapag and Kagman will be at 7pm. There is no fee for the shuttle service.

NMC offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management (emphasis in accounting); associate of arts degree in business, associate of applied science degrees in business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), associate of arts in liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, and social work), associate of science in nursing, natural resources management, associate of applied science in criminal justice, and hospitality management.
