United donates ticket to US for Green Gala
United Airlines has again signed on as a sponsor of Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance’s Green Gala by donating one roundtrip ticket from Saipan to any destination in the United States via Honolulu.
The prize ticket will be raffled at the event on Sept. 14 at the Hibiscus Hall of the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan.
The donation makes United Airlines an emerald sponsor.
“We are very excited by the continued support of United Airlines and their commitment to MINA to assist us in fulling our mission. This [roundtrip ticket] will definitely add to the excitement of the event,” said Fran Castro, MINA board chair. “We are grateful for United Airlines’ generosity and their support.”
“MINA is at the forefront of environmental stewardship, and we appreciate the work that they do for the communities of the Marianas,” said Paula Monk, United Airlines senior sales manager-Guam and Micronesia. “United Airlines is proud to have served the Marianas for 50 years as its hometown carrier, and returning as an emerald sponsor of the Green Gala is one way that we can help support MINA’s recycling efforts and the valuable work they do to keep the islands clean and beautiful for generations to come.” (PR)
