SHRM sets July meeting
The Society for Human Resource Management NMI Chapter invites its members, associated HR and management staff, and interested members of the public to attend its next general membership meeting on Thursday, July 26, 2018. This lunch meeting will be held at the Pacific Islands Club Charley’s Charley’s Cabaret tomorrow, July 26, 2018, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
The meeting will feature assistant attorney general Bobbi Cepeda, who will discuss employer obligations under the newly-enacted CNMI Public Law 20-60 “State Directory of New Hires.”
This presentation will provide information on reporting requirements and the processing of income withholding orders for child support under this new law, which came into effect in June 2018. The presentation is open to the public and will provide information for employers, managers, and HR professionals and staff.
