Saipan Community School will open its school doors for the 40th year on Aug. 6th, 2018. Faculty and staff will welcome students with new doors installed for our elementary classrooms, new technologies, and a fresh new look in many areas of the school.

In addition on July 26th and 27th SCS staff and parent volunteers are welcome to come serve as painters and landscapers to give the campus an updated look for its 40th year. SCS will continue to celebrate four decades of excellent education with many special activities throughout the 2018-19 school year.

“What an exciting year awaits us! We are blessed with an outstanding faculty and staff eager to continue the good works that started decades ago here on our wonderful campus!” SCS principal Amanda Dunn said. “Through the efforts of many Saipan Community School families, friends, and ETC contributions, our campus is improving. And the generosity of our local companies have allowed us to provide so many more opportunities for our SCS students!”

Saipan Community School currently has open enrollment and serves students from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. In addition to the traditional academic classes, students are able to participate in school athletics, art, physical education classes, band and music class where students in 3rd-8th grade learn the beautiful art of playing the ukulele. Students also enjoy participating in activities such as Math Court, Academic Challenge Bowl, Scripps Spelling Bee, speech competitions for PGFC and NJSDA, National Geography Bee, Mock Trial, and STEM Fair.
