Are you an aspiring author? Do you have a book idea? Have you always wanted to write and publish “the great Marianas novel,” memoir, non-fiction how-to manual, or book of poetry or photographs?  Looking for tips on how to overcome writer’s block? It’s easier than you think!

The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library’s video teleconference room will be the venue of a workshop on Saturday, June 23, from 1pm to 4pm, to be led by Walt F.J. Goodridge, an author of over 24 books in a variety of genres.

Admission to the workshop is $10 in advance, and $12 at the door. Twenty percent of admission proceeds will be donated directly to the library on the day of the event!

During this lively, interactive three-hour workshop, Goodridge will share step-by-step instructions on how to start a book project, overcome “writer’s block,” find the best and worst times to write, edit your book, how to tell when it’s ready, publish independently and go from idea to sales in 24 hours or less!

Seating is limited. To register, please visit the front desk of the library. For more information, learn more about Goodridge, and to see some success stories from past workshops, visit www.saipanwriters.com. (PR)
