10 SDA students off to senior high
Ten 8th grade students of Saipan Seventh-Day Adventist School were part of the 30 that graduated in a recent commencement ceremony at the school grounds.
Class valedictorian Rannon Palacios and salutatorian Lucy Devey led the 8th graders that will be moving to senior high school, while 11 6th and nine 7th graders were promoted to junior high.
Devey was also part of the Principal’s List that included first graders Faith Arriola, Orica George, Maria Guerrero, Zhuxuan He, Nicole Williams, and Thomas Wister; second graders Jessica An, Kurt Diesta, and Lacey Sablan; Gwanhun Son, the lone third grader; fourth graders Chloe Berglund, Mika Camacho, and Kyle Diesta; Gwanpil Son (5th grade), and Annamarie Devey and Bomee Park (6th grade).
Palacios led her 8th grade classmates Cory Lee and Mateo Maldonado on the fourth quarter honor roll that was also given from the first to 7th grades.
Caleb Aldan, Marley Camacho, Karis Han, Jebro Leon, Angelo Li, Sharon Li, Payton Pangelinan, Jason Christopher Sablan, Hao Yang Song, and Cezanne Tero (first grade); Si Yun Ahn, Elin Kim, Cole Kirschenheiter, Taiga Namai-Scoggins, Shylah Pierson, Aubrey Paige White, and Dan Bi Yu (second grade); Ellie Cho, D’Artagnan Enerio, Montrey Germance, Michelle Huang, Minseop Lee, Pete Phair, and Tristan Sablan (third grade); Denis Ahn, Dashaly Buekis, Jia Zhi Li, Jianing Li, Jenna Qiu, Tellei Rechucher, Peter John White (fourth grade); Rigel Devey and Elizabeth Tom (fifth grade); Michelle Chen, Elijah Hofschneider, Xin Jin, Ashley Sablan, and Emily Wister (sixth grade); And Isaac Han, Jia Hui Li, Marielle Lopez, and Kevin Manuel (seventh grade) were the other students on the fourth quarter honor roll.
