D&Q sponsors a MINA bin

D&Q, a division of TanHoldings Corp., has become the newest sponsor of a recyclable bin located at PauPau Beach, north side, a popular beach and family barbecue site for the residents of Saipan.
Max Kretzers, resident manager of D&Q, stressed the importance and value of their company’s participation in community programs, specifically Adopt-a-Bin.
“As residents of Saipan, we all have a responsibility for where we live and work, and we are proud to take on the responsibility of this site at PauPau Beach,” he said. “We as a corporation, and as individuals, are committed to doing our part in keeping a clean and litter-free environment for all of us to enjoy. This is an excellent program that helps to keep advance that goal and keep our lagoon healthy and vibrant.”
MINA’s Adopt-a-Bin program has 20 bins located in strategic locations around the island, which serve as receptacles for recyclable items. Other picnic trash should be placed in trash barrels, also located at various beach parks around the island. In case there is no garbage bin, “what is carried in should be carried out.”
MINA has two bins still in need of sponsorship: one at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium in Susupe and the other at Marine Beach in Kagman.
