NEA awards $296,700 for Guam
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Delegate Madeleine Z. Bordallo (D-GU) announced yesterday that the National Endowment of the Arts has awarded the Guam Council on Arts and Humanities $296,700 in federal grants assistance. This grant will support CAHA’s efforts to promote arts programs, services, and activities on Guam, including performances and exhibitions, healing arts and arts education programs, festivals, and artist residencies.

“I have long championed programs that promote the arts and cultural activities on Guam. It is important that we provide resources to help our artists showcase their work and talents with our community. As Guam’s representative in Congress, I join my colleagues each year in supporting federal funding for the NEA, which is provided to local organizations in the states and territories throughout the country. I look forward to CAHA utilizing these funds to further promote the arts on Guam.” (PR)
