Power interruption today
There will be a scheduled power interruption today, May 9, from 2pm to 4pm. Areas affected include Petroleum Lane in Lower Base. No water well or wastewater lift station will be affected. The purpose of the power interruption is to de-energize primary lines of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. and to allow CUC’s contractor, Primary Source Electric, to safely replace two wooden poles along the Feeder 2 distribution circuit in Lower Base.
Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas.
For more information, contact the CUC Customer Call Center (664-4282) or monitor our Facebook page for the latest updates (https://www.facebook.com/CommonwealthUtilitiesCorporation/). (PR)
