SCS band to stage spring concert and ukulele jam

The Saipan Community School Concert Band will put on its 30th Annual Spring Concert program, “A Night of Folk Music,” today, May 3, at the Saipan Community Church Chapel at 7pm.

Next Thursday, May 10, join the school at Saipan Community Church Chapel at 7pm for the Saipan Community School ukulele jam, “Classic.” They will put on a show featuring music by Strauss’ Blue Danube as well as some modern classics such as My Girl by The Temptations and Ben E. King’s Stand By Me.

Saipan Community School is a private Christian school that was established in 1976 as the first Protestant school on the island. SCS offers a U.S. curriculum taught in English. It provides education in a Christian environment.
