MVA to introduce European dive media to The Marianas
Diving opportunities in The Marianas will soon be shared with dive enthusiasts throughout Europe via an upcoming media FAM(iliarization) tour hosted by the Marianas Visitors Authority.
On Apr. 9-14, 2018, the MVA will welcome representatives of 11 European dive media outlets for a tour of Rota and Saipan.
“There’s no doubt The Marianas has diving options comparable to the best sites elsewhere in the world, as testified by the many international recognitions and awards we have received,” said MVA managing director Christopher A. Concepcion. “Through the larger international company of our Korea representative office, we have been able to coordinate this large-scale media FAM tour to share our spectacular dive sites with France, Turkey, and Germany. It’s one small step toward increasing worldwide awareness of The Marianas as a premiere dive destination.”
In addition to diving, the group is scheduled to have a bike tour and beach snorkeling with Marianas Trekking, take a tour of the historic and scenic sites of Marpi, take a UTV tour to Mt. Tapochao with Let’s Go Tour, take a sunset dinner cruise, enjoy luxury shopping, and visit various local eateries including Surfclub and Naked Fish.
Participating media will be Nature Plongee, Oceane, Subocea, Spot My Dive, Pongez!, Plongee TV, SONO TUR, AYISIGI DIVING & TRAVEL, Absolut Scuba, Resisecenter Federsee, and Pacific Travel House. (PR)
