If you’re looking for warm, genuine Filipino hospitality and an unforgettable experience to match for your next getaway, Resorts World Manila is the perfect choice.

The Resorts World Manila is a chain of luxury hotels that pride themselves in their ability to offer beyond 5-star luxury experience, Filipino style.

During the Resorts World Manila Familiarization Tour from March 5 to 10, various media outlets from Guam, Hawaii, and the Saipan Tribune were given a taste of what exactly authentic Filipino hospitality really means in RWM’s definition.

After a short three-hour flight, fam tour participants jumped straight into RWMs, tour starting at a savory stop.

During the first day of RWM fam tour, representatives were hands-on from the start, catering to your every need, no matter what the need, as Filipinos are known for their nurturing nature.

The fam tour started with a food trip at Marriott Hotel Manila’s newest restaurant, the Manila Life Cafe. Manila Life offered basic Filipino finger foods with a twist. Fam tour guests were served gourmet sisig tacos, sisig rice cups, and kikiams, and more.

Breakfast consisted of small talk among acquainting strangers and satisfied moans from everyone as dish after dish of mouthwatering food were placed in front of them.

Straight after breakfast, RWM wasted no time. Participants were immediately transported from Manila Live via RWM shuttle to the tour’s next stop, Yatai Spa. Yatai claims to be Philippines’ largest spa, prides themselves in their four-star spa service, and a proud partner of RWM.

Yatai Spa service director Lorris Lee offered a tour of the luxurious facility. The spa offered nothing but quality amenities as well as services.

The group was able to avail of a few of the spa’s services like manicures, pedicures, Chinese massages, stone massages, saunas, a theater, a lounge room, a jacuzzi, and more. The spa also doubles as a hotel where couples or individuals can rent rooms as low as $40 (over 2,000 Philippine pesos).

After a relaxing spa treat, the group was escorted to one of RWM’s newest luxury hotels called Maxims. The hotel was grand with a built-in mall, various restaurants, cafes, a 1,500-person capacity theater, and more. The hotel is also conveniently placed in Newport where guests have the option to roam the city’s streets and visit a variety of local shops.

At Maxim’s the media outlets from Guam and the CNMI were escorted by RWM representatives to watch a whimsical live performance of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a production put on by RWM to entertain their valued hotel guests.

The three-hour production was outstanding, beautifully performed, well prepared, and left the guests wanting more.

After the curtains were closed, RWM brought the media outlets from Guam and CNMI to meet the cast and were welcome to take photos, ask questions, and get autographs.

To end the tour’s first day, the fam tour participants were brought to the holiday inn for a presentation dinner. The presentation dinner allowed all the fam tour guests to mix and mingle with one another while throwing back a few glasses of merlot and whiskey, dancing, and singing karaoke, and basically getting acquainted with one another before everyone was checked into their hotel rooms for the night.
