Mafia II keeps opponents at bay

The 6JMS Mafia II made short work of Amari’s Empy, 12-3, in last week’s Tuesday B Division games in the Saipan Electronic Darts Association Bud Light League 2018 held at the former’s home bar in Garapan.
The Mafia hiked its record to 77-28 after the win against its cellar-dwelling opponent to keep a good distance from its foes and boost its title bid.
The quartet of Derrick Ayuyu, Joker Camacho, Ray Cepeda, and Richard Santos proved to be too much of a class against their lowly-ranked opponents. Empy managed to win only two matches in the opening 301 Double In-Double Out event courtesy of Mark and Jerry Uberita, who bested Camacho and Cepeda. The two players then joined Kristan and Patrick Uberita in winning the Team 1101 event.
In other games, the Amari’s Petmalu Boyz also scored a 12-3 triumph over the 6JMS Thunder Darts Impact, while the 6JMS Strikers completed a 10-5 decision against sister squad the Strikers.
Meanwhile, no games were played in the Fanihi and Flame Tree Thursday B, and Inter-Government divisions in observance of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday last week.
