Ticheli leads Marianas Muscle winners

Brian Ticheli won the overall title in the 2018 Michelob Ultra Marianas Muscle Bodybuilding & Physique Championships held at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multipurpose Center late last month.
Ticheli topped the masters division category of the bodybuilding event, beating Jun Riodique in their head-to-head matchup to get the overall championship in the annual tournament organized by the Northern Marianas Bodybuilding & Physique Federation.
In the physique division, Arvin Mettao prevailed in his one-on-one duel against Zhang Wei.
With Ticheli and Mettao ruling their respective events, they joined the competition’s elite winners circle, which include last year’s champs Aaron Tomokane, Enrico Valdez, Star Gordon, and Ran Hee Yoo. Tomokane ruled the open bodybuilding category in 2017, Enrico Valdez reigned supreme in the open men’s physique, and Gordon and the 64-year-old Yoo were the Top 2 finishers in the masters women’s physique class.
