Kilili to host 2nd Veterans Resource Fair

Delegate Gregorio Kilili C. Sablan (Ind-MP) is once again hosting the Northern Marianas Veterans Resource Fair, for veterans, service members, and military families throughout the Marianas interested in learning more about the programs and services that are available to support them. The event is free and open to the public.

“Our mission is to connect our veterans, service members, and military families in the Marianas with the federal and local resources that are here to help them,” Sablan said.

“Last year’s fair was very well-received and well-attended, and we aim to build on that success this year,” he added.

The 2nd Northern Marianas Veterans Resource Fair will be held on:

Rota: April 4, mayor’s conference hall, from 9:30am to 12:30pm

Saipan: April 5, Pedro T. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm

Tinian: April 6, Tinian Library, from 2:30pm to 5:30pm

Veterans Resource Fair participants will include the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA Pacific Islands Health Care System and VA Regional Benefits Office), the Guam Vet Center, the Army Reserve’s Family Support Programs, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, the CNMI Military and Veterans Affairs Office, Veterans of Foreign Wars, VA Choice health providers, and a wide range of Commonwealth agencies and community organizations offering education and career services, small business development training, vocational rehabilitation, employment assistance, legal aid, home loans, crisis support, disability assistance, and social services.

Veterans and military family members who wish to meet with VA representatives to follow up on claims are asked to bring relevant supporting documents (i.e., copies of DD214 forms, medical records, marriage or birth certificates for dependents, etc.)
