The Northern Marianas College is inviting the public to its 37th Charter Day festivities to celebrate the college’s role in advancing educational opportunities for CNMI students. Charter Day will be on Friday, April 13, 2018, at the NMC south field in As Terlaje.

“Charter Day is one of our most exciting events of the year,” said NMC president Dr. Carmen Fernandez. “It gives our college community an opportunity to showcase their programs and services and provides a great platform to feature local artists, school clubs, and community organizations.”

“We’ll be showcasing various programs, hosting fun competitions, and of course, featuring great entertainment,” said Charter Day Planning Committee chair Alexis Cabrera.

The festivities will kick off on Friday, April 13, at 4pm and will continue until 10pm.

There will be an array of entertainment and competitions throughout the celebration. Delicious food, drinks, and games will also be offered for sale by numerous vendors.

Agencies, businesses, clubs and other civic organizations are invited to participate by purchasing booth space for the following categories: food/drink, game booths, retail (arts and crafts, toys etc.), and information.

The deadline to submit applications for booth spaces will be on April 11, 2018. Booth space is limited so applications should be submitted prior to the deadline. The booth fee is $150 for businesses and organizations and $75 for NMC clubs and nonprofit organizations. For more information about reserving booth space, contact Queanna Sablan at 237-6809. For more information about Charter Day, contact Alexis Cabrera at 783-2356. (NMC)
