7 GMS students qualify in MathCourt state round

Seven Green Meadow School students from the fourth to sixth grade qualified in the state round MathCourt competition last Feb. 17, at Mount Carmel School.
John Edsel Hinolan and John Rayven Cruz from fourth grade; Chealzka Navarro, Solana Arro Hunter, and Jasmyne Tolentino from fifth grade, and sixth graders Areeza Gaile Anda and Danielle Nicole Sacramento will be competing again next month.
Each GMS participant’s interest in mathematics and their eagerness to make their family proud paved the way for them to win in this competition.
Other winners in the K-2 Division and 3rd Grade are as follows:
K-2 DIVISION
• 1st place, Jamie Andrea Palabay (Kinder5)

• 1st place, Alexia Rubia (2nd grade)
• 2nd place, Paul Andrei Bernardo, Sofia Cariaso (1st grade)
• 3rd place, Isabella Mallari (2nd grade)
• 3rd place, Briell Malonzo, Avie Miguel Aumentado (1st grade)
• 5th place, Kazzandra Drilon (1st grade)
• 5th place, Jericho Hinolan (2nd grade)
3-5 DIVISION
• 1st place, Yel Khalil Ocampo, Paula Bernardo (3rd grade)
• 2nd place, Louise Manansala (3rd grade)
