Juan Tenorio drove in four runs and Titanium capitalized on the Blue Jays’ sloppy field defense to earn a come-from-behind 21-11 win last Monday night in the 2018 Saipan Baseball League at the Francisco “Tan Ko” Palacios Ballfield.

The win was the second straight and third overall in five games for Titanium, while the Blue Jays (2-4) lost back-to-back after an 18-8 victory against the Indians on March 5.

Tenorio went 2-for-5 with one run and had a two-RBI single in the second inning where Titanium held a 2-1 lead. He drove another run in the fifth and had an RBI in the seventh after being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.

Before Titanium rallied, the Blue Jays enjoyed a 10-2 lead after four and a half innings, but fell into a spate of errors at the bottom of the fifth. Titanium cashed in on the Blue Jays’ booboos, scoring seven runs.

K.J. Villagomez, who had a single and reached third on consecutive errors by the Blue Jays, tied the game in the sixth after scoring on a Jerald Cabrera RBI single.

The Blue Jays committed 26 errors in the entire game, eight each in the fifth and seventh inning, allowing Titanium to mount a comeback. Titanium had 11 runs at the bottom of the seventh to end the game.

Brian Camacho went 3-for-5 with three runs, a triple, and an RBI, while Cabrera, Villagomez, and Tony Leon Guerrero had two-RBI single each—all were recorded in the seventh inning.

Villagomez pitched one inning in relief, giving up no hits with one strikeout and four walks, while Tony Leon Guerrero tossed for two, yielding one run on two hits with a walk and a strikeout. Cabrera started for Titanium and lasted four innings. He was tagged with seven earned runs on six hits with six walks.

Meanwhile, league leader GSM was playing the winless Indians at press time, while the defending champions Aces, after a 10-8 loss to the Falcons on opening day, shoot for their fourth straight triumph against the also unlucky Outlaws.
