TanHoldings Football Club-1 and MP United FC are still undefeated in the co-ed U13 division of the 2018 NMIFA Spring Youth League.

TanHoldings-1 improved to a 4-0-0 win-draw-loss record and remained at the top spot in the team standings following an 8-2 rout of Kanoa FC-2 last Saturday at the Hopwood Middle School Field.

Ariel Narvaez powered TanHoldings-1 to a lopsided victory after making a hat trick. He got his first goal in the 11th minute and then nailed back-to-back in the 22nd and 24th. Mark Joseph Roque chipped in two, scoring in the 19th and 44th minute, while Javen Montenegro, Angelo Pulido, and Harry Domulot contributed one apiece after lighting up the board in the 11th, 54th, and 59th minute, respectively.

Kanoa-2, on the other hand, drew its pair of goals from Markus Pelisamen, as his conversion in the first and fourth minute gave his team the early lead before TanHoldings-1 took over en route to the easy win.

Meanwhile, lurking behind TanHoldings-1 is MP United, which now has a 3-1-0 slate. MP United notched its third win last weekend after slipping past Matansa, 5-4.

Andrew Chung scored three goals with his last one minute before the match wrapped up giving MP United the close victory. Chung’s two other goals were recorded in the 14th and 57th minute, while Dev Bachani and Evan Mendiola added one apiece for MP United. Bachani’s goal two minutes before the first half ended put MP United on top, 2-1, and a shot from Mendiola in the 41st minute gave the team more breathing room.

Philip Regino registered Matansa’s lone goal in the first half and the squad went on to grab THE LEAD, 4-3, with five minutes left in the game, as Jin Xin Wen scored in the 43rd minute and Jose Rafael Lopez and Megino found their targets in the 54th and 55th, respectively.

However, Matansa failed to keep the shaky lead when Chung countered with back-to-back goals down the homestretch.

In other results, Kanoa-1 crushed TanHoldings-2, 9-2.

Kanoa earned its second win against one draw and one loss for third place in the team standings, while TanHoldings-2 is still winless after four games to remain at the cellar of the six-squad field.

Leland Isaiah Deleon Guerrero delivered three goals for Kanoa-1, while Sophia Quintos knocked in two. Paulo Quidato, Ruben Guerrero, Devin Propst, and John Mark Anastacio also scored for the winning team. Mary Joy Aniana registered the pair of goals for TanHoldings-2.
