Water service interruption on Saipan
There will be a scheduled water service interruption on Friday, March 16, from 8am to 5pm affecting customers on the Dandan tank service areas: Lower Dandan Homestead, Airport Road, As Lito, portions of Kannat Tabla, Fina Sisu, As Perdido, and Koblerville.
The cause of the water service interruption is due to a transmission leak on the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.’s Isley Booster 2 station. This transmission line provides water to the Dandan tank. Repairs on the six-inch transmission line will be performed by a contractor from 8am to 5pm.
Water service will resume normal service hours on Friday, March 16, at 5pm for the following areas: Lower Dandan Homestead, Airport Road, As Lito, portions of Kannat Tabla and Fina Sisu. Water service hours for customers along Chalan Monsignor Martinez Road from Happy Market to ABCD Market in Koblerville will also receive water on Friday, March 16, from 6am to 8am and 5pm to 8pm. Normal scheduled water service hours for these areas will resume on Saturday, March 17, 2018.
