HAGATNA, Guam—The weather cleared up long enough yesterday for the flag-raising ceremony on the lawn of the Guam legislative building. The Guam Legislature this month honors veterans from the island’s various motorcycle clubs.
Several members from the Guam Hawgs, Veterans of Guam Motorcycle Club, Cheluship Guam, Trix71, Harley Owners Group, Island Thunder, and others attended the ceremony, which is held every month to honor the men and women who have served proudly as members of the U.S. military.
The inaugural Veterans Commemoration Flag-Raising Ceremony was held in November f last year. The next flag-raising ceremony is slated for Monday, April 2, 2018. (PR)
