The Saipan Chamber of Commerce 2018 Golf Tournament is looking to bring some fun to the golf course with a two-person scramble format.

Men and women of different skill levels and talents all have a chance at some amazing cash prizes: $800, $500, and $300 for first, second and third place, in both the team gross and team double peoria categories. There will also be cash prizes for closest-to-the-pin, longest drive, and accurate drive contests. In addition to these prizes, golfers will enjoy complimentary swag bags courtesy of our Chamber members as well as on-course snacks and refreshments.

The tournament is slated for April 14, with show time at 6am and shotgun start at 7am. The registration fee is $130/per person. Chamber members will enjoy a discounted fee of $120. A banquet and raffle will immediately follow after the tournament.

The funds raised by the tournament and raffle will support the Chamber’s scholarship program, monthly training seminars, and other community based projects. Amongst the activities offered in 2017 were: $8,000 scholarships to high school seniors; $2,000 scholarship to an NMC college student; $2,000 scholarship to a vocational education student; annual Career Exploration Day: more than 80 public and private high school students experienced working in the private sector for a day; Veteran Cemetery improvements; Saipan Young Professionals 2017 Toys 4 Tots Program; and over $2,000.00 and 2,000 toys collected for less fortunate children

Fabulous raffle prizes have been donated, and tickets will be available for purchase during the awards banquet. Registration forms for players are available for download at www.saipanchamber.com, at the Chamber office, and at the Laolao Bay Golf and Resort.

The Chamber is pleased to have the support of its generous members and looks forward to offering new programs to enhance the business community on Saipan in the upcoming year.
