Franken Brau to host shamrock-themed SYP mixer

To kick off the St. Patrick’s Day weekend, the Saipan Young Professionals is hosting its 2nd Annual SYP “Shamrock & Roll” mixer on March 16, from 5:30pm to 8pm. The event is sponsored by local craft beer maker Franken Brau, Inc.
“Franken Brau truly believes that the future of Saipan lies in our youth. We want to invest our time and efforts into growing young professionals,” said Franken Brau Inc. owner Helen Doestch. “Franken Brau, Inc. and SYP have similar goals: to focus on the quality of life, build work ethics, and to promote the growth of small businesses. We are excited to be sponsoring their networking mixer again this year.”
“Shamrock & Roll” is the first of four SYP networking mixers that will be held this year at various Chamber-member establishments. “We are promoting SYP to other young professionals and entrepreneurs within this community. We hope that our event will provide a comfortable setting where interested individuals can meet our SYP team to learn about our goals, provide an outlet for community involvement, and to promote small businesses like Franken Brau, Inc.” said Beau Tomokane, Delta Air Lines operations service manager and SYP co-chair.
The entrance fee for the event is $10 per person, which includes two free beverages from select beers, free appetizers while supplies last, and one raffle ticket for a chance to win some fun prizes.
SYP will also be hosting fun games for a chance for guests to win prizes. Proceeds will go to upcoming SYP outreach programs and events planned for this year.
