The Marianas Visitors Authority is expecting an increase in Russian tourism arrivals this spring with Jeju Air’s new travel promotion from Vladivostok to the Marianas via quick transit through Seoul.
Jeju Air is offering a variety of low-cost options for travelers, with fares for roundtrip from Vladivostok to the Marianas this spring starting at $250 for adult. The fare is also discounted 25 percent for children ages 2-12 and 90 percent for children ages 0-2.
“We have been working very closely with our MVA Russia representative office to generate more visitor arrivals from Russia, and this spring promotion by Jeju Air looks very promising,” said MVA marketing specialist Hillary Agulto. “We see a growing potential for the Russian market and are excited to welcome more Russian visitors back to the Marianas now and for years to come.”
The MVA is supporting the promotion with online ad articles, SNS promotion, and radio ads. With the purchase of tickets at the Jeju Air Vladivostok office, each traveler will also receive a Guideline leaflet developed for tourists, which includes details on promotional offers by participating hotels such as Saipan World Resort, Mango Resort and Suites, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Pacific Island Club Saipan, and Kensington Hotel Saipan.
A number of the offers include complimentary meals, access to upgraded amenities, discounted spas and fitness packages, and hotel room promotions. The MVA will also expand its current promotions in Russia with a new incentive program for travel agents in March. (MVA)
