Bank of Guam donates $5K to NMC Foundation
Bank of Guam donates $5,000 in addition to thousands of dollars worth of golf gear in support of the annual NMC Foundation Golf Tournament that will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018. To support higher education in the CNMI, Bank of Guam recently made a $5,000 donation as well as thousands of dollars more in golf gear to the Northern Marianas College Foundation.
The donation was made as part of the NMC Foundation’s 15th Annual Foundation Open golf tournament is scheduled for Saturday, March 3, 2018. The event will be the first major golf tournament of the year.
“We are proud to help the Northern Marianas College further its mission of helping CNMI residents improve their quality of life through educational advancement and professional development,” said Marcie Tomokane, vice president/CNMI regional manager of Bank of Guam.
“We are extremely grateful for Bank of Guam’s donation and continued support of the College,” said NMC president Dr. Carmen Fernandez.
“Bank of Guam’s generosity has enabled many organizations in the CNMI, including the NMC Foundation, to carry out important goals and objectives,” said Mary Tenorio, NMC Foundation board chair. “We are thankful for the company’s longstanding support.” (NMC)
