With the drastic increase of new development on our island, our businesses are experiencing an even more demanding consumer base. It is important to ensure safety at all times. Being safety-oriented can help improve your employees’ morale, productivity, as well as keep your customers and visitors protected from harm.

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce and Island Training Solutions present “General Industry Safety,” a non-construction-based training seminar that is geared toward the safety of employees and customers in a general workplace.

This training seminar is highly recommended for offices, wholesale, and retail businesses.

Though hazards may be limitless, every employee has a right to a safe place of work and employers are required to provide them a safe and healthy workplace.

During this training seminar, participants will be able to identify potential hazards in a workplace, create a culture of safety in their business, learn tips to keep their employees and customers safe, and determine the various aspects of a safe and healthy work environment. Participants will have the chance to familiarize themselves with basic safety key practices that they are able to share with others.

One attendee at a similar event said, “The presenter provided valuable information and examples. The materials provided different perspectives that were very clear and easy to understand. It was an interactive presentation. [The instructor] was enthusiastic and encouraging!”

The “General Industry Safety” training seminar will take place at the Saipan Chamber of Commerce conference room (Marianas Business Plaza, third floor, Suite 315) on Thursday, March 22, 2018, from 9am to 12pm. Registration fee is $50 per person for Chamber members and $55 per person for non-members. Reservations and advance payment are required, as seating is limited. Light refreshments are included. To register, call 234-7150 or email coordinator@saipanchamber.com. (PR)
