Delegate Gregorio Kilili C. Sablan (Ind-MP) is urging his colleagues in Congress to take action against school gun violence.

This, in the wake of the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on Feb. 15, 2018, that killed 17 people.

In a statement, Sablan said that just feeling sad was “not enough.”

“…Today, along with most of my Democratic colleagues on the Education Committee, I am calling for a full and formal hearing on what action Congress can take to end this plague of school gun violence that is taking the lives of our children,” he said.
