MGA Ace of Aces on Saturday
The Marianas Golf Association will be holding the final day of its 2017 Ace of Aces tournament on Saturday with participants taking on the challenging east course of the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort.
Show time is at 11am, while tee time is set one hour later.
The winner of the tournament will also be declared as the MGA’s January Ace of the Month.
Don Hallmark earned the final spot on the MGA’s yearend tournament as he clinched the December Ace last month at Laolao’s west course. He finished with a net 69 for a one-shot win over August Ace Ned Norita. MGA president J.J. Atalig, the April winner, was third with a 72.
Peter “Dung” Tenorio (January), Joe “Kamikaze” Camacho (February), Jessica Sonoda (March), Gerald Guerrero (May), Calvin Yamagishi (June), Jason Sablan (July), Rob Davis (September), James Benavente (October), and Marco Peter (November) are the others players who qualified for the MGA’s Ace of Aces tournament.
Meanwhile, Geri Dela Cruz (secretary), Benavente (treasurer), and Yamagishi (tournament director) join Atalig and vice president David Largent on the list of MGA’s current officers.
