Carter said the visit would allow him to view several projects relevant to stipulated order No. 1. SO1 focuses on drinking water and wastewater issues and the restructuring of CUC’s organization.

The parties will meet at the U.S. District Court for the NMI between 7:30am and 7:45am today, then will tour CUC’s new tank in Gualo Rai.

He will then proceed to the newly constructed lift station in San Jose, and the lift station renovation in Agingan/San Antonio, where three workers died while doing renovation work.

Other projects scheduled to be visited are a waterline project in Koblerville; Power Plant 3 in As Lito; the newly built Northern Marianas College water tank that replaced the old one; a booster pump in Kagman; the treatment plant in Sadog Tasi; Power Plant 4 in Puerto Rico; the newly built chlorine storage facility at Power Plant 1 in Lower Base; CUC warehouse facility in Lower Base; and Tanks 103 and 104 at the Power Plant 1 in Lower Base.
