DPW to bring energy campaign to Tinian
The Department of Public Works, through the Energy Division Office, will be holding the 2018 Tinian Energy Awareness Campaign this Saturday, Jan. 27, from 8:30am to 11:30am at the Tinian Youth Center.
The Energy Division, through its Energy, Education, Efficiency and Conservation Program efforts, will be distributing reusable shopping bags and a portable stove for each residential consumer at the Tinian Youth Center. Items will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis and while supplies last.
This event will provide the residential community tips on how to conserve energy at home and how to save money using efficient products that carry the Energy Star label and educate the community on the importance of energy conservation in the Commonwealth.
