Japan’s Marine Diving returned to the Marianas this month to capture photogenic diving spots on Saipan and Tinian for its March 2018 print issue. A special feature on Rota will be published online in April 2018.
Marine Diving magazine circulates 100,000 copies monthly to divers of all ages. This year’s coverage targets active female divers and is expected to bring the Marianas $10,000 in ad exposure value.
“Marine Diving magazine has featured the Marianas nearly every year for a number of years now, and we are very happy to have them back,” said Marianas Visitors Authority marketing manager Broc Calvo. “Not only will they be highlighting our fantastic diving, but also sightseeing spots, shops, and restaurants that make this an ideal destination for active divers.”
Dive sites visited by the crew included Laulau Beach, Obyan Beach, Pau Pau Beach, Tinian Grotto, and Saipan Grotto. Other sites visited included Mandi Asian Spa, Mariana Ocean, the Iglesia ni Cristo church, Garapan street market, Micro Beach, Country House Restaurant, IHop, Mt. Tapochau, Payless ShoeSource, Loco Boutique, Naked Fish Bar & Grill, Joeten Hafa Adai shopping center, and Spicy Thai Noodle Place.
The group lodged at Mariana Resort & Spa. (MVA)
