The Triathlon Association of the CNMI will hold the 3rd Aquathlon and 10K Run on Jan. 27 at 6am at the Kilili Beach Park.

The aquathlon features a 2.5-kilometer run, 1K swim, and 2.5K run, with registration fees of $10 for individual participants and $20 for each team. The 10K run is for individual runners only and participation costs $10 each.

Medals and other prizes await the top finishers of the race, which is the second of a series of warm-up races organized by TRAC leading up to the 2018 Tagaman set later this year.

Last December, TRAC held its first Road to Tagaman Race with the staging of the 2nd Saipan Duathlon and triathlon regulars Charlie Sendin and Emily Northrop won the men’s and women’s crowns.

Tyce Mister and Ronald Villafria completed the men’s Top 3, while Heather Brook and Claire Devey duplicated the feat in the women’s side.
