Teens arrested for assault and battery

An incident happened at Marianas High School last Dec. 21 involving two students attacking another male student.

According to Department of Public Safety public information officer Jackie Rae, the assailants were arrested and charged with assault and battery.

The report stated that on Dec. 21, 2017 a male student was walking with his girlfriend when he was suddenly punched in the face by the first assailant and fell.

While the victim was on the ground, another assailant started kicking the victim.

The girlfriend was able to break the attack, immediately led the victim to the bathroom and went out to get help.

The victim could not identify the suspects, but the girlfriend and other witnesses identified and named the two assailants.

The victim suffered a broken jaw.
