Registration for NMC spring semester ongoing

Northern Marianas College is reminding those interested in advancing their education or professional career that registration for the college’s spring semester is currently ongoing until Jan. 12, 2018.

Applications for admission and other forms may be picked up at NMC’s Office of Admissions & Records in Building N at the NMC As Terlaje campus, or may be downloaded from www.marianas.edu.

Supporting documents (i.e., transcripts from institutions previously attended, health evaluation form, and copy of a valid photo I.D.) must be turned in within 60 calendar days of submitting the admission application.

New students are required to take the math and English placement tests; the placement test dates are listed at www.marianas.edu. New and readmitted students must also attend a student orientation in order to register for courses. Note other important dates below:

Jan. 8-9, 2018: Online student orientation for new and returning students                                 

Jan. 8-12, 2018: Late registration/ advising period

Jan. 16, 2018: First day of class for spring 2018

NMC offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management; associate degrees business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, and social work), nursing, natural resources management, criminal justice, and hospitality management.
