Pacifica Insurance names new president

The board of directors of Pacifica Insurance Underwriters, Inc., the leading insurance agency in the CNMI, has appointed, Shirley T. Sablan as its new president and chief operations officer. She replaced Norman T. Tenorio, who has been with the company since 1984 and is retiring as president but will continue in the same capacity as chief executive officer and to take a new role as the chairman of the company.
Sablan, who has taken over her new role as president since Jan. 2, 2018, was the executive vice president and general manager of Pacifica since June 1, 2011. Under her guidance, Sablan helped drive the company into becoming a top company in the CNMI. Her new leadership as president will continue its ongoing commitment to serving its customers, employees and investors at the highest possible level and will remain deeply involved with members of our community through various community activities and efforts.
